Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects.
• Strong understanding of cost estimation, cost control, tendering processes and contract management.
• Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office and industry-standard quantity surveying software.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and prepare accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and project cost estimates
• Review engineering drawings, technical specifications and contract documents for accuracy and completeness
• Monitor project budgets and implement cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare tender documentation and evaluate subcontractor quotations to ensure value and compliance
• Coordinate closely with project managers, site engineers, consultants and suppliers to align commercial and technical requirements
• Manage variation orders, progress claims and payment certifications in line with contractual obligations
• Perform site measurements and verify completed works to support accurate financial reporting
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date commercial records and project documentation
• Support procurement activities and assist in contract administration and negotiation
• Ensure all projects are delivered within budget and on schedule with strong financial oversight
