Project Surveying Responsibilities

• Carry out measurement activities using AECOM measurement software and tools, including CostX and AutoCAD.
• Support pre-contract and post-contract estimating activities.
• Prepare accurate measurements using the standard methods of measurement adopted for each project.
• Participate in the preparation of Bills of Quantities.
• Assist with the valuation of work completed on site.
• Contribute to change management reports and the administration of variations.
• Support final account activities.
• Coordinate with the project team lead on day-to-day tasks required to keep commercial deliverables aligned.
• Follow applicable quality control requirements and established procedures.
• Obtain project-related quotations to support current market feedback.
• Assist with benchmarking and data collection.
• Contribute to internal project and commercial reporting.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor 's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or another construction-related field.

Technical Focus

The position provides hands‑on exposure to quantity surveying and commercial project activities, including CostX, AutoCAD, measurement, Bills of Quantities, cost planning, progress valuation, variations, final accounts, benchmarking and project data collection. Candidates should be comfortable working with detailed project information and maintaining accuracy across measurements and commercial documentation while following established quality control procedures.
