Job summary

CAE is seeking a Quality Management & EHS Specialist to support QMS and EHS activities across Defence & Security operations in the Middle East, primarily UAE and Qatar. The role blends Quality and EHS responsibilities and aims at audits, continuous improvement, and operational excellence at multiple sites.

You will travel regionally (~20%), develop KPIs, provide guidance to operational teams, and collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to sustain compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical engineering, quality, safety, or related discipline.
• Experience applying ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience conducting internal and certification audits.
• Knowledge of risk management and root cause analysis.
• Ability to work across multiple locations and travel regionally.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System per ISO 9001.
• Support EHS programs aligned with ISO 45001 and CAE standards.
• Plan conduct and support internal, external, and customer audits.
• Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, environmental regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Identify and resolve quality issues and non-conformities.
• Conduct risk assessments and contribute to risk mitigation.
• Develop process documentation and drive improvements.
• Develop and monitor QHSE KPIs and reporting.
• Support emergency preparedness and incident management.
• Provide guidance to operational teams on QMS/EHS requirements.
• Promote culture of quality and safety; collaborate with stakeholders.
• Travel to UAE sites and periodically to Qatar (~20%).
