Job summary

Target Engineering Construction Co LLC in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) QC Inspector to join our project team for major EPC oil & gas developments. The role ensures all electrical and instrumentation works meet project specifications and international quality standards.

As the QC Supervisor (E&I), you will inspect, review ITPs, witness testing, raise NCRs, and coordinate with multiple teams to resolve quality issues while maintaining thorough

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, and layouts.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent reporting skills.
• Strong knowledge of international standards (IEC, ISO, ANSI, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection and testing of electrical and instrumentation installations across EPC project phases.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and standards (IEC, ISA, NEC, etc.).
• Review and verify Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and QA/QC documentation.
• Conduct site inspections, surveillance, and witness testing (cable installation, termination, loop checks, grounding, MCCs, panels, instruments, etc.).
• Raise and track non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure timely closure.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, and commissioning teams to resolve quality issues.
• Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and reports.

The ideal candidate will ensure that all electrical and instrumentation works are executed in compliance with project specifications, international standards, and quality requirements.

YOUR ROLE

As the QC Supervisor (E&I), you

• Perform inspection and testing of electrical and instrumentation installations across EPC project phases

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Experience

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in E&I QC inspection within oil & gas EPC projects
• Experience with inspection of cables, trays, JB installations, panels, instruments, and control systems
• Familiarity with ATEX/IECEx requirements is a plus

Education / Certifications / Licenses

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering
• Certifications such as CSWIP, BGAS, CompEx, or equivalent are advantageous

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, and layouts
• Strong attention to detail and excellent reporting skills
• Strong knowledge of international standards (IEC, ISO, ANSI, etc.)
