Job summary

Savola Group is seeking a QA Inspector to oversee quality checks across sorting, roasting, grinding and packing stages, monitor critical controls, verify parameters, and report deviations. The role includes inspecting raw materials, supplier docs, and maintaining complete quality records daily.

You will coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams, manage nonconformances, and ensure food safety compliance, including cross-contamination prevention and GMP adherence.

Responsibilities

• Quality inspection of product sorting process, Roasting/frying process, grinding process, packing process.
• Monitor Critical Control Points and Operational Prerequisite Programs.
• Verify production parameters and ensure adherence to approved process conditions.
• Identify quality deviations and report non-conformities immediately.
• Stop or hold products that do not meet quality and food safety requirements.
• Inspect raw materials at reception and reject non-conforming items per Gyma standards.
• Inspect new samples from Procurement and update the quality status of those samples.
• Verify supplier certificates, COAs, and other quality-related documentation.
• Report and document material quality issues for supplier evaluation.
• Monitor temperature and relative humidity of the warehouse area and escalate on deviations.
• Raise external Nonconformance for serious safety and quality issues.
• Prevent cross contamination to products during inspection on inspection trays.
• Prepare product inspection reports with quality status and forward daily summaries to purchase and warehouse.
• Communicate with warehouse staff and other Quality Controllers on status of conditionally accepted products.
• Schedule and supervise fumigation activities when required.
• Fill records accurately and maintain proper documentation in final files.
• Arrange samples for DM inspection and hold the batch system until results are ready.
• Hold batch of product due to customer complaint or recall issue.
• Daily GMP monitoring in factory premises.
• Weekly staff hygiene verification for production and logistics staff.
• Perform quality verification of export samples upon request.
• Weekly vehicle hygiene inspection.
• Maintain accurate quality control records, inspection reports and checklists.
• Prepare Non-Conformance Reports and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure proper batch documentation and product traceability records.
• Update quality data in Microsoft D365 or digital quality management systems.
• Perform other related duties or assignments as directed

• Inspection of raw materials (both food and packaging) at reception. Rejecting the non-conforming products (not conforming to Gyma standards), accepting conditionally if required after consulting his superior.
• Inspection of new samples received from Procurement team and updating response of quality status of those samples.
• Verify supplier certificates, COAs, and other quality-related documentation
• Report and document material quality issues for supplier evaluation.
• Monitoring Temperature and relative humidity of the warehouse area and proper escalation upon any deviations.
• To raise external Nonconformance for any serious safety and quality issues of the product.
• Accountable to prevent any cross contamination to the products while inspection on inspection tray.
• Preparation of product inspection report with quality status and forwarding the report summary to purchase and warehouse on daily basis.
• Communicating properly with warehouse staff and other Quality Controllers on status of conditionally accepted products requiring special treatment.
• Scheduling & supervising of products’ fumigation activities when required.
• Proper filling of records on time and proper documentation in the final files.
• To arrange samples for DM inspection, hold the batch system wise until the results are okey.
• Hold Batch of Product due to customer complaint or recall issue.
• Daily GMP monitoring in Factory premises.
• Weekly Staff hygiene verification for Production as well as Logistic staff
• To perform Quality verification of Export samples upon request.
• Weekly vehicle hygiene inspection.
• Maintain accurate quality control records, inspection reports, and checklists.
• Prepare Non-Conformance Reports and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure proper batch documentation and product traceability records.
• Update quality data in Microsoft D365 or digital quality management systems.
• Perform other related duties or assignments as directed
