NMDC Dredging & Marine is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to study project specs, inspect dredging and marine works, and ensure conformity with the inspection plan. You will generate daily reports, liaison with client QC, and drive adherence to HSE standards at Abu Dhabi sites.

The role requires a Diploma in Civil Engineering and at least five years in a similar field, with preference for dredging/marine project experience. Join a frontline team ensuring safe, compliant project delivery.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role and industry.
• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in dredging and civil marine projects is highly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Study project specifications and drawings to understand work.
• Inspect work on projects to ensure compliance with inspection plan.
• Resolve minor site issues and prepare non-conformance reports for major breaches.
• Ensure timely issuance of inspection and testing quality records and verify conformity of construction works.
• Monitor progress and request NDT of welds at designated locations.
• Follow up on results and implement required actions.
• Generate daily inspection reports and sign-off completed work segments at hold points.
• Liaise with client QC representative on inspection activities and provide clarifications.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards.

Responsibilities:

• Study project specifications and technical drawings to gain an understanding and appreciation of work to be undertaken
• Inspect work being carried out on projects, within allocated area of responsibility, to ensure compliance with the Quality inspection plan
• Resolve minor issues at the work site and prepare a non-conformance report in the case of more serious breaches setting out the circumstances
• Ensure the timely issuance of inspection and testing quality records and check their adequacy to demonstrate the conformity of construction works
• Monitor work progress and requests Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) of welds at predetermined locations
• Follow-up on results and ensures required action is implemented
• Generate inspection reports to record activities undertaken daily and sign-off completed work segments at respective hold points and passes reports to Documentation for filing and safekeeping
• Liaise with client QC representative on inspection activities and provide clarifications
• Compliance in accordance with HSE Standard

Qualifications/Experience:

• Minimum 05 years of experience in a similar role and industry
• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in dredging and civil marine projects is highly preferred
