Job summary

Gulf Processing Industries LLC GPI is seeking a Quality Manager to lead and strengthen the QA function across the organization. You will drive continuous improvement, ensure compliance with international food safety standards, and implement robust quality systems to enhance efficiency and product excellence.

The role reports to the Plant Manager and operates at the DIP plant, focusing on safeguarding food safety, quality control, and customer audits while leading a team to uphold high standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in food technology, microbiology, or related discipline.
• 8–10 years in food manufacturing with 3+ years in management.
• Strong knowledge of FSSC 22000, BRCGS, ISO, HACCP, GMP.
• Experience with audits, regulatory inspections, and QA systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality Assurance department and ensure compliance with international food safety and regulatory standards.
• Oversee corporate food safety and quality control programs across manufacturing facilities.
• Develop, implement and review SOPs, policies and quality protocols to align with standards and needs.
• Manage customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and implement CAPA.
• Conduct and facilitate internal and external audits including customer and certification audits.
• Define and monitor quality standards for materials, packaging, in-process checks, and finished products.
• Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance skills and ensure QA compliance.
