Job summary

Indu Logistics in Dubai seeks a Strategic QHSE Manager to lead compliance and continuous improvement across warehousing and 3PL operations.

You will implement ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 aligned systems, conduct audits, drive CAPA, run training, and manage regulatory approvals including safety certificates.

The role requires 4–8 years' QHSE experience in logistics or retail fulfilment, NEBOSH/IOSH certifications, UAE driving license, and strong data-driven reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• NEBOSH / IOSH / ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 certifications preferred.
• Valid UAE Driving License.
• 4–8 years of QHSE experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail fulfilment centers.
• Exposure to 3PL operations and fast-paced e-commerce environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Strategic Compliance Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain QHSE management systems aligned with ISO 9001 ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
• Drive continuous improvement through audits training and root cause analysis
• Support warehouse facility maintenance by coordinating closely with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the facility remains safe compliant and operationally efficient
• Ensure compliance with JAFZA Trakhees WHS Dubai municipality and other regulatory requirements including obtaining and renewing approvals such as the Occupancy Fitness Certificate for Trade license renewal
• Support management reviews with KPI performance incident data and corrective action effectiveness
• Design develop and deliver training programs to ensure staff meet operational and QHSE standards across all functions
• Coordinate warehouse infrastructure maintenance including racking inspections MHE safety fire protection systems emergency exits housekeeping pest control lighting HVAC and building maintenance
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing QHSE performance indicators identifying improvement cost optimization opportunities and implementing best practices across warehouse operations
• Support customer audits and operational compliance reviews ensuring the facility consistently meets customer contractual and regulatory requirements
• Maintain a compliance calendar to ensure timely renewal of all the warehouse related contracts manpower AMC Warehouse approved layouts insurance policies statutory inspections and ISO certifications etc

Operational Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections for warehouse and dark store operations
• Monitor MHE operations loading unloading activities and overall housekeeping standards
• Identify unsafe acts and conditions issue NCRs and track closure through CAPA
• Ensure all emergency exits fire safety systems and first-aid equipment are functional and inspected
• Oversee waste segregation hazardous material handling and environmental compliance
• Lead toolbox talks induction sessions and safety campaigns
• Participate in customer and internal audits prepare audit responses and improvement plans

Incident Management Reporting

• Lead or assist in incident and near-miss investigations
• Prepare detailed reports with root cause analysis and preventive measures
• Maintain documentation for incident logs permits inspection checklists and training records

People Process Responsibilities

• Train warehouse teams on safe work practices and emergency procedures
• Promote a culture of Zero Harm and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with warehouse managers supervisors and partners to ensure compliance and operational safety
• Identify and develop Standard Operating Procedures SOPs across all company functions in line with established QHSE and operational standards
• Drive the implementation of ISO certification processes across all business units ensuring compliance with international standards and continuous improvement

  Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
