Jetnova Technology CO LLC - FZ is seeking an experienced Piping Inspector for Abu Dhabi projects in the Oil & Gas sector. The role focuses on piping inspection, fabrication, installation, and quality control with a minimum of 6 years in Oil & Gas.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant Piping Inspection / QA-QC certification will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of applicable international piping codes and standards.
• Good English communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Carry out inspection of piping fabrication, installation and construction activities.
• Ensure piping work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, procedures and project requirements.
• Review and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, piping layouts and related engineering drawings.
• Verify piping materials, fittings, flanges, valves and other components.
• Witness hydrostatic and pneumatic testing and post-test reinstatement where applicable.
• Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, engineering and subcontractor teams to resolve inspection issues.
• Identify non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions.
• Participate in punch-list and mechanical completion handover activities.

Job Overview

Our client a major Oil Gas company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Piping Inspector to join their project team The ideal candidate will have a strong background in piping inspection construction and quality control with a minimum of 6 years of relevant Oil Gas experience The candidate should be capable of interpreting piping drawings specifications and inspection documentation and ensuring piping activities comply with approved project requirements

Key Responsibilities

Carry out inspection of piping fabrication installation and construction activities Ensure piping work is executed in accordance with approved drawings specifications procedures and applicable project requirements Review and interpret strong P IDs isometric drawings piping layouts and relevant engineering drawings strong Inspect piping materials fittings flanges valves and other piping components Verify piping installation alignment supports fit-up and workmanship Monitor welding and piping activities in coordination with Welding Inspectors and QA QC teams Verify piping installation activities prior to testing and commissioning Witness and inspect strong hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing strong where applicable Check reinstatement activities following pressure testing Review relevant inspection documentation test records and quality records Coordinate with construction QA QC engineering and subcontractor teams to resolve inspection-related issues Ensure inspection activities comply with project specifications and applicable codes and standards Identify non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions Participate in inspections punch-list activities and mechanical completion handover activities

Candidates should have good knowledge of:

Experience

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong experience in piping inspection, fabrication and installation.
• Experience in Oil & Gas construction/EPC projects is preferred.
• UAE/Abu Dhabi project experience will be an advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering Technology or a relevant discipline.
• Relevant Piping Inspection / QA-QC certification will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of applicable international piping codes and standards.
• Good English communication skills.
