Job summary

China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) - Dubai Branch is seeking a diligent QA/QC Inspector to ensure construction works meet approved drawings, specifications, and UAE RTA standards. The role involves performing inspections, tests, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to quality assurance and control procedures.

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 4–7 years of QA/QC experience on UAE infrastructure projects is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 4–7 years of QA/QC inspection experience on UAE infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of construction materials, testing procedures and QC processes.
• Familiarity with RTA standards and inspection procedures.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs and test results accurately.
• Proficiency in MS Office and documentation management systems (Aconex preferred).
• Good communication and coordination with consultants and project teams.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high quality standards on site.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections for materials, workmanship and activities per specs and RTA standards.
• Review and verify material deliveries, test certificates and inspection reports.
• Conduct site inspections for civil, structural and utility works per drawings and QA procedures.
• Prepare and maintain IRs, NCRs, and corrective action records.
• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants and subcontractors for inspections and approvals.
• Assist in preparing method statements, ITPs and quality checklists.
• Ensure testing of materials (concrete, asphalt, soil, etc.) follows project and RTA requirements.
• Monitor concrete pouring, compaction, backfilling and finishing per standards.
• Report deviations and follow up on corrective actions; participate in audits.

The role involves performing inspections, tests, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to quality assurance and control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections for materials, workmanship, and activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and RTA standards.
• Review and verify material deliveries, test certificates, and inspection reports before acceptance.
• Conduct site inspections for civil, structural, and utility works to ensure conformity with approved drawings and quality procedures.
• Prepare and maintain inspection requests (IRs), non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action records.
• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors for inspections and approvals.
• Assist in preparing method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and quality checklists.
• Ensure testing of materials (concrete, asphalt, soil, etc.) is conducted as per project and RTA requirements.
• Monitor concrete pouring, compaction, backfilling, and finishing activities for compliance with standards.
• Report deviations or quality issues and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits and implement recommendations.
• Support QA/QC Engineers in preparing documentation for monthly quality reports and handover dossiers.
• Ensure that all works are executed in accordance with ISO 9001 quality management systems.

Skills

Key Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 4-7 years of experience in QA/QC inspection within RTA or major UAE infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, testing procedures, and quality control processes.
• Familiarity with RTA quality standards, specifications, and inspection procedures.
