Job summary

ERAM Manpower Service is seeking a Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) Engineer for civil engineering projects in Abu Dhabi. You will develop and implement QA/QC plans, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, minimum 8-10 years experience in QA/QC roles, and relevant certifications. Key responsibilities include conducting site inspections, managing the QC team, and reviewing technical documents.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in QA/QC roles within civil construction.
• Relevant certifications such as CSWIP, NEBOSH, or ASNT Level II are advantageous.
• Strong understanding of Abu Dhabi construction regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) plans tailored for civil engineering projects in Abu Dhabi's unique construction environment.
• Conduct rigorous site inspections and material testing to ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations (e.g., ADM, Estidama), and international standards.
• Review and approve technical submittals, method statements, and shop drawings, verifying their adherence to design intent and quality requirements.
• Manage and coordinate the activities of the QC inspection team, assigning tasks and ensuring timely and accurate reporting of findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in QA/QC roles within the civil construction sector, preferably in the UAE.
• Possession of relevant certifications such as CSWIP, NEBOSH, or ASNT Level II is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in understanding and applying international standards (e.g., ACI, ASTM, BS) and local Abu Dhabi regulations (ADM, Estidama).
