Job summary

Client of Careers International is seeking a QA/QC Inspector based in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in QA/QC for construction projects.

Your role will involve conducting site inspections, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and monitoring the quality of materials and workmanship. Strong communication skills and a thorough understanding of inspection procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as QA/QC Inspector in construction projects.
• Experience in high-rise buildings, residential, and villa projects preferred.
• UAE construction experience is an advantage.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections to ensure construction works comply with approved drawings and specifications
• Monitor quality of civil, structural, and finishing works
• Inspect materials, workmanship, and completed activities as per project requirements
• Coordinate with QA QC Engineers, site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors
• Prepare inspection requests (IR), checklists, and quality reports
• Verify that works are executed as per approved method statements and ITP requirements
• Identify defects, non-conformities, and report for corrective actions
• Ensure proper documentation of inspection records and quality reports
• Monitor testing activities and maintain quality records
• Assist in maintaining project quality standards and handover documentation
• Conduct routine site checks and ensure compliance with project specifications

Qualifications

• Diploma / Bacheloru2019s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as QA/QC Inspector in construction projects
• Experience in high-rise buildings, residential, and villa projects preferred
• Good knowledge of civil construction inspection procedures
• Familiarity with drawings, specifications, checklists, and inspection documentation
• UAE construction experience is an advantage
• Good communication and reporting skills
