• Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and consultants on quality issues.
• Maintain records of inspections, test results, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
• Support commissioning activities and ensure proper documentation of test reports.
• Ensure safety standards during inspection and testing activities.

Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesReview and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and standards.Conduct inspections and testing of electrical installations including cable laying, terminations, panels, transformers, switchgear, and lighting systems.Monitor and verify installation activities to ensure compliance with project quality plans and procedures.Prepare and maintain inspection test plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality control procedures.Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and consultants for quality-related issues.Ensure that all materials used are approved and meet project specifications.Maintain records of inspections, test results, non-conformances, and corrective actions.Participate in internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of NCRs.Support commissioning activities and ensure proper documentation of test reports.Ensure adherence to safety standards during inspection and testing activities.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.7 years of experience in QA/QC for electrical systems in construction or power projects.Familiarity with international standards (IEC, NEC, IEEE) and local regulations.Experience in handling QA/QC documentation and audits.
