Job summary

Commercial Bank of Dubai is seeking a Control Testing professional to support testing and quality assurance across Business Risk & Governance. You will QA changes, monitor controls, and coordinate remediation with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to regulatory and internal standards.

The role involves leading risk assessments, reviewing policies and procedures, and delivering management-facing reports. A strong control mindset and collaboration with stakeholders are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
• Minimum 5 years in a financial institution in a similar role.
• 2+ years in control testing/quality assurance.
• Proven experience implementing 3 Lines of Defence models.

Responsibilities

• QA over implementation of governance changes for the 1st line of defence.
• Monitor key controls and report findings via written reports.
• Oversee and enforce corrective actions across controls and regulatory guidelines.
• Review policies and procedures related to WBG/TBG products.
• Review audit and internal control reports and engage with relevant teams.
• Lead and support RCSAs and risk assessments with Ops Risk.
• Present compliance matters to senior management and suggest improvements.
• Coach staff to embed a strong risk culture.
