Job summary

SHADES ENGINEERING CONSULTANT - L.L.C - O.P.C in the UAE seeks a QA/QC Inspector for joinery and interior fit-out projects. You will conduct quality inspections across production and site activities, ensuring compliance with shop drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Responsibilities include material and workmanship verification, pre-delivery inspections, and coordination with production and project teams to resolve quality issues.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or Wood Technology.
• 3–5 years of QA/QC experience in joinery and interior fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of joinery manufacturing processes, materials, and installation methods.
• Valid UAE driving license and own vehicle for travel between factory and project sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections throughout joinery production and site installation activities.
• Inspect joinery works against approved shop drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Verify dimensions, materials, finishes, edge banding, hardware, and workmanship before product release.
• Inspect raw materials, veneers, laminates, solid wood, paints, hardware, and accessories prior to production.
• Monitor cutting, assembly, polishing, painting, finishing, and packaging processes to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Identify defects, non-conformities, and workmanship issues, ensuring timely corrective actions are implemented.
• Conduct pre-delivery inspections and approve completed products before dispatch to site.
• Perform installation inspections to ensure joinery works are installed in accordance with approved drawings and company standards.
• Coordinate with Production, Technical, Installation, and Project teams to resolve quality-related issues.
