Job summary

Royal Joinery is seeking a QA QC Engineer Joinery and Fit‑out to uphold the highest quality standards across construction projects in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. You will develop QA plans, conduct on‑site inspections, review drawings, and guide teams to resolve quality issues while maintaining thorough documentation and audits.

The role requires a civil engineering/related degree and 3‑5 years UAE joinery/fit‑out experience, with strong communication and knowledge of codes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
3‑5 years of UAE experience in the joinery and fit‑out industry.
A UAE driving license will be advantageous.
Proficiency in construction codes, standards, and regulations.
Strong command of quality control and quality assurance processes.
In‑depth understanding of construction materials, methods, and practices.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Competence in interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
Familiarity with testing and inspection procedures for construction materials and systems.
Relevant certifications (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) are advantageous.
Proficiency in using QA/QC software and tools.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement and continually refine QA QC plans for construction projects incorporating thorough inspection and testing protocols.
Conduct regular on-site inspections and audits to verify compliance with established quality standards and project specifications.
Scrutinise construction documentation, blueprints and specifications to proactively identify and resolve potential quality challenges.
Collaborate with project teams to promptly address quality-related issues and offer technical expertise.
Regularly report on QA QC progress to project stakeholders and provide insights to improve processes.
Ensure that all construction materials and equipment meet the requisite quality standards and certifications.
Execute inspections and tests on construction materials, structural components and systems.
Maintain meticulous records of all QA QC activities and generate comprehensive reports as needed.
Organise and deliver training sessions to educate construction teams on QA QC best practices.
Engage in both internal and external quality audits and assessments.
Stay abreast of industry developments and regulations pertinent to quality assurance and control.
