Job summary

Mazrui International LLC is seeking a Sr QA QC Inspector to conduct comprehensive inspections of materials, welds, and components per API/API non-API job requirements. You will prepare inspection records, verify traceability, and coordinate with suppliers and third parties to ensure quality compliance.

The role involves visual and dimensional checks, hardness tests, NDT where required, and maintaining detailed documentation in the QC system.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience inspecting materials, workmanship, and final products per API/ASME/EN standards.
• Knowledge of nondestructive testing (NDT) methods and related procedures.
• Proficient in preparing inspection records and reports.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify materials from suppliers and clients per purchase spec.
• Prepare and review Good Received Vouchers and Records.
• Conduct visual, dimensional, welding, and hardness inspections as per technical docs.
• Coordinate with suppliers, third parties, and QC rack filing.

Sr QA QC Inspector responsibilities

• Reporting to QA QC Manager Chief QA-QC Inspector Knowledge of reading engineering drawings Knowledge of measuring all types of instruments used in the machine shop with the required accuracy Receipt of materials from suppliers sub-contractors and client-free issue materials for different 5 International standard items and inspection Receiving raw materials and inspecting as per purchase specification along with MTC Preparation of Good Received Voucher Preparation of Good Received Records for client-owned free issue material take photos for back-up Recording of inspection details as per standard format for API items in initial inspection records 10 for evaluation to repair and to prepare recommended rework report Preparing inspection records in handwritten format Verify route card operations are made correctly signed off as and when the inspection is completed Once the route card is closed ensure that the route cards move to the designated QC rack for filing Prepare RRR spares list or review these documents For Sr QA QC Inspector only Visual dimensional machining fit-up and welding and hardness test inspection as per engineering technical documents for API non-API jobs Preparing inspection reports on the computer and store in the common drive Magnetic particle test Die penetrant test Qualified NDE Lev II Technician Verify the material identification and traceability during fabrication Preparation of final dimensional mark-up for dossier preparation Liaison with supplier certifying authority third party inspection personnel with regard to quality topics or hold witness points Monitoring pressure testing Preparing and reviewing reports and documents For Sr QA QC Inspector only Prepare and check the blasting profile paint dry film thickness and report Shipping inspection Perform in-house external calibration of equipment and creating maintaining records Includes Measuring tools pressure gauges and chart recorders Material requisition for QC requirements like NDT consumables etc Documenting inspection results as required Coordination with Document Controller Familiar with standards like ASME / API / BS / ENHandling all types of instruments to handle and prepare reports.Pressure vessels and heat exchangers from ASME codes.Medium and heavy industrial structural work from AWS standards.High-pressure piping work from API / ASME standards and codes.NDT knowledge is a must.
