Job summary

ADEAREST is seeking a QAQC Engineer in Abu Dhabi to manage quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with project specifications. This role involves organizing QA/QC programs, conducting audits, and providing technical support to project teams.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or other related course.
  • Certified ISO Lead Auditor / Internal Auditor.
  • Familiar with ASME Section VIII Division 1.
  • ASNT NDT Level II Certified.
  • CSWIP 3.1 Certified Welding Inspector is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years preferably from the O&G/Manufacturing background.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and manage the QA/QC Programs per the Company's Quality Policy.
  • Coordinate document controls of technical submittals and drawings.
  • Monitor required tests, recorded inspections, and tests per the specifications.
  • Provide technical support to the Project Manager regarding submissions.
  • Assist Management in conducting internal quality audits.
  • Prepare corrective action reports for non-conformance issues.
  • Perform QHSE visits on project sites to ensure safety requirements.
  • Attend Project Site Inspection Requests after installations.
  • Perform raw material inspections and quality assessments on incoming materials.

Job description

Job Title: QAQC Engineer

Reports to: QAQC Lead/AD Area Manager

Job Objectives

QA/QC Engineer's objective is to maintain the good quality of product & services supply to the clients, full implementation of quality management systems of the company. To implement all aspects of the quality management systems and quality assurance in accordance with the contract documents, relevant international standard and local authorities requirements, perform quality assurance, control inspections and submittal reviews.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Organize, implement, conduct and manage the QA/QC Programs as per the Company's Quality Policy.
  • Coordinate the document controls of technical submittals, drawings, etc with the Project Team and ensure that the QA/QC validation has been done, to ensure their issue, amendments and recall of controlled documents.
  • Coordinate all inspections, monitor the required test, record inspections and tests made as per the Contract Plan and Contract Specifications.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager regarding work performance and hold authority to stop work in any area where discrepancies remain uncorrected and/or cancel the stop work order upon satisfactory correction of noted deficiencies.
  • Provide technical support to the Project Manager and guidance to site staff in submission of materials for approval, request for inspection, shop drawings, As‑built drawings.
  • Assist the Management in conducting internal quality audits.
  • Ensure that Non‑Conformance Report (NCR) is raised once activities deviate from the Contract Specifications or normal company practices.
  • Prepare corrective action report (CAR) for the NCR encountered in the workshop, project sites, internal audit and customer complaints.
  • Perform QHSE visit on project sites to make sure that all employees are following all the safety requirements.
  • Remind all employees about the importance of quality of work, health, safety and environment.
  • Attend to all Project Site Inspection Request (PSIR) raised by project Engineer/Supervisor after completing the installation process.
  • Coordinate with the project staff to compile and maintain pertinent records of inspection and testing until end of the contract and all pertinent records for retention on completion of the project.
  • Perform raw material inspection and regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.
  • Perform inspection of fabricated pressure vessel, valve station, pump station, frame, Skids/Racks Assembly.
  • Generate Method of Statement for project sites as per approved contract with scope of works.
Qualifications
