Role Description The QA/QC Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Arab Emirates. Responsibilities include developing and implementing quality assurance and quality control procedures, conducting inspections at various project stages, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements. The role involves preparing and reviewing quality documentation, test plans, and inspection reports, as well as coordinating with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to resolve non-conformities and prevent rework. The QA/QC Engineer will monitor construction activities, perform audits, support continuous improvement initiatives, and provide guidance to site teams on quality-related issues.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Control and Inspection, with hands-on experience in monitoring construction activities, materials, and workmanship.
• With 5 yrs relevant experience.
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Assurance and Quality Management, including developing procedures, plans, and documentation to maintain compliance with standards and project requirements.
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Auditing, with the ability to plan and conduct internal and external audits, identify gaps, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Relevant bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience in building and infrastructure projects, preferably within healthcare, education, or government sectors.
• Knowledge of applicable international and local construction codes, standards, and quality frameworks.
• Proficiency in technical reporting, documentation, and use of common office and quality management software.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural project environment.
• Professional certifications in quality or construction (e.g., ISO-related, QA/QC training) are an advantage.
• Currently based in UAE
