ERAM Manpower Service in the United Arab Emirates seeks a highly experienced QC Welding Inspector for oil & gas pipeline projects. You will ensure welding work complies with API 1104 and ASME IX, supervise NDT activities, and validate weld procedures and welder qualifications.
Candidate must have 8–10 years in QC welding inspection, Gulf experience, and a Mechanical Engineering degree or technical diploma, plus CSWIP 1 or AWS CWI certification. UAE work location; full-time engagement.
Ensure all pipeline welding activities strictly adhere to project specifications, international codes (e.g., API 1104, ASME IX), and client requirements.
Should have good experience in Cross Country Pipeline Projects - Its Must
Conduct thorough visual inspections of weld preparations, joint fit-ups, and completed welds to identify any defects.
Oversee and verify non-destructive testing (NDT) activities, including radiography (RT), ultrasonic testing (UT), and magnetic particle testing (MT), ensuring compliance with standards.
Review and approve welding procedures (WPS) and welder performance qualifications (WPQ) to confirm they meet project and code requirements.
Should have good experience in Cross Country Pipeline Projects - Its Must
Gulf experience must
Possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; technical diplomas are also considered.
Hold recognized welding inspection certifications such as CSWIP 1, AWS CWI, or equivalent.
Demonstrate a minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience as a QC Welding Inspector, specifically within the oil & gas pipeline sector
