Job summary

ERAM Manpower Service is seeking a highly skilled QC Welding Inspector for offshore/onshore pipeline projects in the UAE. You will ensure welding activities comply with project specs, API 1104, ASME IX, and client requirements.

The role requires 8–10 years of progressive experience in oil & gas pipeline QC, Gulf experience, and recognized welding inspection certifications such as CSWIP 1, AWS CWI. Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Gulf experience must
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; technical diplomas also considered
• Hold recognized welding inspection certifications such as CSWIP 1, AWS CWI, or equivalent
• 8-10 years of progressive experience as a QC Welding Inspector in oil & gas pipeline sector

Responsibilities

• Ensure all pipeline welding activities strictly adhere to project specifications, international codes (e.g., API 1104, ASME IX), and client requirements.
• Conduct thorough visual inspections of weld preparations, joint fit-ups, and completed welds to identify defects.
• Oversee and verify NDT activities, including radiography (RT), UT, and MT, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Review and approve welding procedures (WPS) and welder performance qualifications (WPQ) to meet project and code requirements.

• Conduct thorough visual inspections of weld preparations, joint fit-ups, and completed welds to identify any defects.




• Oversee and verify non-destructive testing (NDT) activities, including radiography (RT), ultrasonic testing (UT), and magnetic particle testing (MT), ensuring compliance with standards.




• Review and approve welding procedures (WPS) and welder performance qualifications (WPQ) to confirm they meet project and code requirements.
