Job summary

Confidential Company seeks a seasoned QA/QC Engineer to lead quality assurance for MEP installations on large-scale projects in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. You will implement ITPs, conduct inspections, audits, and coordinate with engineers and clients to resolve issues.

The role requires a strong technical foundation in MEP systems, ISO 9001/Six Sigma credentials, and at least 5 years of hands-on QA/QC experience in construction. Excellent documentation and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a strong MEP foundation.
• Certifications such as ISO 9001 or Six Sigma demonstrate quality management principles.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on QA/QC experience in MEP projects and construction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of MEP systems ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Develop and implement QA QC procedures tailored to MEP installations enhancing project quality.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to identify potential quality issues early in the project lifecycle.
• Perform regular audits of MEP worksites and documentation to ensure adherence to safety and quality regulations.
• Develop, implement and maintain ITPs, quality procedures, and Method Statements.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors on inspection requests and NCRs.
• Ensure materials delivered to site are inspected and comply with submittals and specs.
• Maintain quality documentation trackers and test records for timely approvals.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate quality requirements across all MEP disciplines with site teams.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of MEP systems ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards
• Develop and implement QA QC procedures tailored to MEP installations enhancing overall project quality
• Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to identify potential quality issues early in the project lifecycle
• Perform regular audits of MEP worksites and documentation to ensure adherence to safety and quality regulations
• Develop implement and maintain project-specific Inspection and Test Plans ITPs quality procedures and Method Statements
• Conduct inspections and quality checks on MEP installations mechanical electrical fire-fighting and plumbing at various stages of work
• Prepare review and submit MIRs Material Inspection Requests WIRs Work Inspection Requests and NCRs Non-Conformance Reports
• Coordinate with consultants clients and sub-contractors on inspection requests closing out NCRs and resolving quality issues
• Ensure all materials delivered to site are inspected and comply with approved submittals and project specifications
• Maintain comprehensive quality documentation trackers and test records and ensure timely approvals
• Participate in internal and external quality audits and assist in continuous improvement initiatives
• Coordinate quality requirements across all MEP disciplines with electrical HVAC plumbing and fire-fighting site teams
