Job summary

Tate in Dubai is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to uphold quality standards across mechanical installation works on our projects. You will inspect pipework, review documentation, and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry regulations.

You will collaborate with site management and subcontractors to drive non-conformance actions, maintain quality records, and support audits throughout the project lifecycle. A engineering qualification and QA/QC certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a QA/QC Engineer, Quality Inspector, or similar quality-focused role within construction or mechanical projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical pipework systems, installation methods, and industry standards.
• Experience reviewing quality documentation, inspection reports, and material certifications.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of mechanical pipework installations to verify compliance with project specifications.
• Document, track, and report non-conformances in accordance with quality management procedures.
• Verify the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Review and approve contractor quality documentation, inspection reports, and test records.
• Conduct material inspections and testing to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to maintain quality compliance across all construction activities.
• Support quality audits and inspection activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all quality records are accurately maintained and submitted in line with project requirements.
