Job summary

aasa Group is seeking a QA/QC professional to manage quality activities for civil infrastructure and utility projects in the UAE. You will prepare and implement quality plans, ITPs, method statements, and inspection checklists, while reviewing drawings and submittals for compliance.

You will coordinate with consultants, authorities, and project teams to secure inspections and approvals, conduct site inspections, and maintain comprehensive QA/QC records for audits and handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 5–8 years of QA/QC experience on civil/infrastructure projects.
• UAE driving licence is mandatory.

Job description

• Manage QA/QC activities for civil infrastructure and utility projects.
• Prepare and implement Project Quality Plans, ITPs, Method Statements, and Inspection Checklists.
• Review drawings, specifications, material submittals, and technical documents for compliance.
• Coordinate with consultants, authorities, and project teams for inspections and approvals.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure works are executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Manage MIRs, WIRs, inspection requests, test reports, and quality documentation.
• Coordinate material testing and third-party inspections as required.
• Identify and close NCRs, corrective actions, and preventive actions.
• Monitor quality of excavation, drainage, pipelines, road works, reinstatement, and related civil infrastructure works.
• Maintain complete QA/QC records and support project audits and handover documentation.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Planning, and HSE teams to resolve quality issues.
• Support internal quality audits and ensure proper implementation of project quality procedures.
• Ensure proper documentation and timely closure of all quality requirements.
• Valid UAE Driving Licence is mandatory.
