L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering in Dubai seeks a QA QC Engineer to implement and monitor QA/QC activities for road and highway construction projects, ensuring workmanship, testing, and documentation meet project specifications and client requirements.

The role coordinates with client, consultant, subcontractors, and laboratories to inspect materials, perform tests, raise NCRs, and prepare quality dossiers for project handover.

Qualificações

• Experience implementing QA/QC plans on EPC road projects.
• Ability to review MTCs, test reports, inspection reports and quality records.
• Strong knowledge of project specifications and applicable standards.

Responsabilidades

• Implement QA QC Plan, ITPs, method statements and quality procedures.
• Monitor construction quality for earthwork, pavement, drainage and structures.
• Coordinate inspections with client, consultant, subcontractors and labs.

Job Purpose

The QA QC Engineer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities for road and highway construction projects The role involves ensuring that construction activities materials workmanship testing and documentation comply with approved project specifications drawings applicable codes and client requirements

Key Responsibilities

Implement the project QA QC Plan Inspection amp Test Plans ITPs Method Statements and Quality Procedures Monitor quality of construction activities related to earthwork embankment subgrade GSB WMM bituminous works drainage structures and road furniture Conduct inspections at various stages of construction and ensure compliance with approved drawings specifications and method statements Coordinate with client consultant subcontractors site engineers and laboratory teams for inspection and testing activities Ensure that all construction materials are inspected and approved before use Review Material Test Certificates MTCs test reports inspection reports and quality records Coordinate and witness field and laboratory tests for soil aggregates concrete asphalt bitumen and other construction materials Monitor testing requirements including FDT sieve analysis Proctor CBR concrete tests bitumen asphalt tests density tests and other relevant tests Raise and close NCRs Non-Conformance Reports observations and quality-related issues in coordination with the concerned teams Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented and effectively closed Conduct regular quality inspections and prepare inspection requests checklists and quality reports Maintain proper documentation and records for audits inspections testing and project handover Support internal client consultant and third-party quality audits Ensure compliance with applicable IRC MORTH MoRTH ASTM AASHTO IS project specifications and client requirements as applicable Monitor calibration and validity of testing and measuring equipment Coordinate with the construction team to identify potential quality issues and implement preventive measures Participate in quality meetings and provide inputs on recurring quality issues and improvement initiatives Assist in preparation of Quality Dossiers Final Documentation for project completion and handover
