Peergrowth Consultancy Co. is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to ensure construction and installation activities meet UAE quality standards and project requirements.
You will support the Quality Management System and ensure ISO 9001:2015, DMT, ADM, and Civil Defense compliance across all project phases. Responsibilities include developing PQP, QCP, and ITP, conducting site inspections, reviewing subcontractor quality docs, managing NCRs/CARs, FAT/SAT participation, and maintaining QA/QC records.
The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all construction and installation activities meet established quality standards and comply with UAE regulations, technical specifications, and project requirements. The role supports the implementation and maintenance of the companys Quality Management System and ensures compliance with ISO 9001:2015, DMT, ADM, and Civil Defense standards throughout all project phases.
The primary objective of this role is to establish, implement, and maintain Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems across engineering, construction, and installation works.
The QA/QC Engineer ensures that all project activities align with approved designs, specifications, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements within Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
This role also provides technical guidance to site teams and subcontractors on QA/QC procedures, ensuring consistent compliance and continuous quality improvement across all project stages.
Develop and implement Project Quality Plans (PQP), Quality Control Plans (QCP), and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).
Ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, UAE construction codes, and international quality standards.
Conduct internal quality audits to verify compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Review subcontractor quality documentation and provide technical feedback and recommendations.
Support project staff in understanding and implementing QA/QC procedures and quality standards.
Conduct site inspections for civil, structural, MEP, architectural, and finishing works.
Verify that materials and equipment comply with approved Material Approval Requests (MAR) and project specifications.
Issue and monitor Inspection Requests (IR), Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and Corrective Action Reports (CAR).
Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) with suppliers and contractors.
Maintain logs for inspections, test results, and QA/QC documentation.
Maintain QA/QC documentation through electronic document control systems such as MePS or similar platforms.
Ensure all as-built documentation is properly prepared, verified, and submitted in accordance with project requirements.
Coordinate quality inspections with consultants, authorities, and project stakeholders when required.
Prepare QA/QC monthly reports and quality performance summaries.
Identify and report deviations from specifications, drawings, or quality standards.
Initiate corrective and preventive actions and monitor them until closure.
Conduct root cause analysis to reduce rework and prevent recurring issues.
Maintain accurate records of NCRs and CARs and ensure proper resolution.
Supervise QA/QC inspectors, technicians, and junior engineers where applicable.
Plan inspections and coordinate quality activities with site teams and subcontractors.
Participate in site meetings, quality briefings, and toolbox talks.
Support document control teams in maintaining document traceability and integrity.
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Quality Engineering.
UAE Ministry of Education Equivalency Certificate is mandatory.
Minimum 7 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years within the UAE construction or engineering sector.
Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations and authority requirements.
Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems and QA/QC procedures.
Experience in FAT/SAT testing procedures and quality documentation processes.
Experience working with electronic document management systems such as Aconex, MePS, or ProjectWise.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are considered an advantage.
The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for:
Developing and monitoring QA/QC plans, procedures, and inspection protocols.
Conducting site inspections across civil, structural, MEP, and architectural works.
Ensuring materials and equipment meet approved standards and specifications.
Managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Corrective Action Reports (CARs), and related corrective measures.
Maintaining QA/QC documentation, inspection records, and compliance logs.
Coordinating with consultants, project teams, and authorities to ensure approvals and compliance.
The QA/QC Engineer reports directly to the Construction Manager or Project Manager.
The role may supervise QA/QC Inspectors, laboratory technicians, and subcontractor QA/QC representatives when required.
Ensure full compliance with quality standards across all project activities.
Maintain complete traceability of all inspection and testing records.
Coordinate with consultants and relevant authorities on quality-related matters.
Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence within the organization.
Perform duties in accordance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
