Role Overview:

Orbit International Survey Services LLC is seeking a highly skilled QA/QC E&I Inspector ARAMCO Certified with a valid SAP Number to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in offshore shipyard heavy industrial and oil & gas projects with proven expertise in quality control inspection and testing of E&I works in line with ARAMCO and international standards.

The E&I Inspector will be responsible for executing and overseeing inspections verifications and quality checks on electrical and instrumentation systems. The role ensures strict compliance with ARAMCO specifications IEC/IEEE standards and project-specific requirements while maintaining safety documentation accuracy and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all inspection activities comply with ARAMCO international and project-specific standards.
  • Review and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for project execution.
  • Perform in-process final and mechanical completion inspections for onshore and offshore projects.
  • Inspect incoming materials validate vendor certificates and confirm compliance.
  • Monitor installation of cable trays junction boxes control panels telecom systems and field instruments.
  • Witness and verify electrical testing: HV/MV/LV cable testing insulation resistance (IR) earth continuity torque checks and functional tests.
  • Conduct inspections for Ex-certified equipment tubing installations and leak tests.
  • Interpret and verify engineering drawings: P&IDs SLDs GADs loop diagrams and termination drawings.
  • Operate and interpret results from test equipment: multimeters insulation testers OTDRs and calibrators.
  • Record findings raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective actions and punch list closures.
  • Coordinate with clients subcontractors and internal teams for timely resolution of inspection issues.
  • Prepare and maintain inspection reports and ensure timely submission to clients.
  • Enforce HSE compliance and apply Stop Work Authority when safety or quality is compromised.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s Degree / Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years inspection experience in oil & gas shipyard EPC or offshore projects.
  • ARAMCO Approval with valid SAP Number (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (IEC IEEE NFPA ISO etc.).
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings and engineering documentation.
  • Experience in mechanical completion systems turnover packages and QA/QC documentation.
  • Excellent communication reporting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and in multicultural project environments.
  • Immediate availability for mobilization in the UAE.
