Job summary

Justlife Home Services in Dubai is seeking a hands-on Quality Assurance Engineer to own testing across mobile, web, and backend systems, driving the quality gate as the company scales.

You will collaborate with developers, automation engineers, and product teams to design robust test scenarios, reduce defects, and introduce AI-driven QA practices that improve release velocity without compromising quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on QA experience with test design and bug lifecycle management.
• Experience applying AI to QA or testing tasks.
• Experience in startup or fast-paced tech environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive defect escape rates down and resolution velocity up by mastering product testing across mobile/web/backend and investigating root causes developers can fix.
• Participate in product and technical grooming—be the voice that asks what could go wrong and identifies risks.
• Collaborate with the Automation team to expand test coverage and optimize regression suites.
• Own testing and verification for Scrum commitments—regression, exploratory, integration and end-to-end testing as needed.
• Leverage AI tools and agents to accelerate test scenario creation and share learnings with the team.
• Build strong relationships with developers and cross-functional partners—be the QA partner engineers want in grooming sessions.
• Identify and implement at least one AI-driven QA initiative by month six and present its impact.

We're growing our development team and launching new product lines, which means testing complexity is rising fast. You'll own the quality gate across mobile, web, and backend systems—catching bugs before customers do, working shoulder‑to‑shoulder with developers to fix root causes, and building the AI‑driven testing practices that let us scale without compromise. What you'll own

• Collaborate with our Automation team to expand test coverage, improve regression suites, and identify which tests should be automated versus manual
• Own the testing and verification for assigned Scrum commitments—regression, exploratory, integration, and end‑to‑end testing as needed
• Leverage AI tools and agents to accelerate test scenario creation, analyse requirements for gaps, and reduce repetitive manual work—then share what you learn with the team
• Build strong working relationships with developers and cross‑functional partners (Product, Business, Automation)—be the QA engineer they want in their grooming sessions
• Identify and implement at least one AI‑driven QA initiative by month six, measure its impact, and present it to the wider Engineering organisation

What tells us you're the one

• You've “measurably improved a quality outcome across a real product or service”—tell us about a testing initiative you led, an automation effort you contributed to, or a bug‑finding approach you designed that moved a specific metric (defects caught, time‑to‑resolution, test coverage, automation percentage, whatever matters in your context)
• You've worked in a startup or fast‑paced tech environment and can show us how you adapted to changing priorities and ambiguity without losing ownership
• You have 2+ years of hands‑on QA experience with demonstrated strength in test design, bug lifecycle management, and root‑cause analysis—we care more about what you've shipped than years on a CV
• You've used AI tools practically in your QA or development work (not just read about them)—show us a concrete example of how you applied AI to improve testing, analysis, or productivity
• You understand automation concepts and test frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Appium, or similar)—direct automation coding isn't required, but you speak the language and can collaborate effectively with automation engineers
• You work in a startup or complex product environment where you've seen mobile, web, and backend systems interact, and you understand the testing implications
