Job summary

Justlife is seeking a hands-on QA engineer to own testing across mobile, web, and backend services in the UAE. You’ll design test scenarios, investigate root causes with developers, and leverage AI-driven testing tools to scale quality.

You’ll ensure regression coverage, participate in grooming, and drive defect escape rates down while accelerating resolution. Collaborating with product, automation engineers and data teams, you’ll expand test coverage, mentor others, and help shape AI-first QA

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on QA experience with test design and bug lifecycle management.
• Experience with automation concepts and test frameworks; familiarity with Playwright, Selenium or Appium.
• Proactive in root-cause analysis and risk identification in product development.

Responsibilities

• Own testing across mobile, web, and backend systems and design test scenarios.
• Investigate defects with developers and fix root causes to reduce escape rate.
• Collaborate in grooming and regression planning; expand test coverage.
• Leverage AI tools to speed up test creation and reduce repetitive work.

What you ll own

Drive defect escape rates down and resolution velocity up by mastering Justlife s products designing test scenarios across mobile web backend and investigating root causes that developers can actually fixParticipate in product and technical grooming be the voice that asks what could go wrong here and identifies risks before development startsCollaborate with our Automation team to expand test coverage improve regression suites and identify which tests should be automated versus manualOwn the testing and verification for assigned Scrum commitments regression exploratory integration and end-to-end testing as neededLeverage AI tools and agents to accelerate test scenario creation analyse requirements for gaps and reduce repetitive manual work then share what you learn with the teamBuild strong working relationships with developers and cross-functional partners Product Business Automation be the QA engineer they want in their grooming sessionsIdentify and implement at least one AI-driven QA initiative by month six measure its impact and present it to the wider Engineering organisation
