Job summary

Ultrafilter Dubai is expanding its group purchasing team and seeks an experienced Purchaser. You will source filter media, components and finished products from China, India and Europe, negotiate terms, and place orders in our ERP.

You will run Kanban/reorder loops to avoid production delays, coordinate supplier quality with the Quality team, and manage import paperwork. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years in industrial purchasing.
• Experience buying from Chinese and Indian suppliers; Incoterms and customs basics.
• ERP purchasing (SAP, Oracle, Odoo or similar) and strong Excel.
• Able to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Buy filter media, pleat packs, end caps, housings, components and finished products from suppliers in China, India and Europe for our group companies.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, minimum quantities and delivery terms within approved limits.
• Place and expedite purchase orders on our ERP; keep confirmed delivery dates up to date.
• Run Kanban and reorder loops so production never waits for material.
• Coordinate supplier quality with our Quality team: certificates, test reports, non-conformities.
• Handle import paperwork with logistics and forwarders: Incoterms, customs, origin certificates.
• Report supplier performance monthly and propose second sources.

Ultrafilter makes industrial, food-grade and sterile filters for customers in more than 50 countries. We are building our group purchasing team in Dubai and are hiring an experienced Purchaser.

What you will do:

• Buy filter media, pleat packs, end caps, housings, components and finished products from suppliers in China, India and Europe for our group companies
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, minimum quantities and delivery terms within approved limits
• Place and expedite purchase orders on our ERP; keep confirmed delivery dates up to date
• Run Kanban and reorder loops so production never waits for material
• Coordinate supplier quality with our Quality team: certificates, test reports, non-conformities
• Handle import paperwork with logistics and forwarders: Incoterms, customs, origin certificates
• Report supplier performance monthly and propose second sources

You bring:

• 3 to 6 years in industrial purchasing (components, technical materials or filtration), including negotiating with suppliers
• Experience buying from Chinese and Indian suppliers; Incoterms and customs basics
• ERP purchasing (SAP, Oracle, Odoo or similar) and strong Excel
• Able to read technical drawings and specifications
• Fluent written and spoken English

Nice to have:

• CIPS qualification
• German or Mandarin
• Filtration, pharma, food or automotive supply chains
• Kanban / MRP set-up

We offer:

• AED 9,000 - 12,000 per month, tax-free, depending on experience

• Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 18:00, office in Business Bay
