Job summary

TASC Outsourcing in the UAE is seeking a Purchase Manager for FMCG on a contract basis, based in Sharjah/Dubai. You will source, evaluate and buy FMCG goods, manage supplier relations, and ensure timely stock availability to support sales and profitability.

The role requires 5+ years in FMCG procurement, strong negotiation and ERP experience, and excellent Excel and analytical skills. You will collaborate with Sales and Warehouse teams to optimize stock, margins, and procurement efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of FMCG purchasing/procurement experience.
• Experience sourcing FMCG products from manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors.
• Strong supplier negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
• Understanding of FMCG market trends, pricing, margins and product movement.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP/procurement systems.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and reporting abilities.
• Strong communication and coordination with internal teams.
• Valid UAE driving licence – mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase FMCG products from reliable suppliers.

• Monitor market prices and trends to ensure competitive pricing.
• Manage product availability and stock levels to minimize stockouts.
• Identify fast-moving products based on demand and trends.
• Coordinate with Sales and Warehouse to plan purchasing requirements.
• Monitor margins and purchasing costs to support profitability.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on pricing, quality, availability and delivery.
• Maintain purchasing records in the ERP system.
• Prepare regular purchasing reports on suppliers, purchases, stock levels, pricing and savings.
• Use Excel for purchasing analysis, reporting and price comparisons.
• Ensure timely procurement to meet business requirements.
