WATERMELON MARKET in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced procurement professional to lead supplier sourcing and cost analysis for food distribution and retail categories in Dubai.

You will evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms, manage RFQs and POs, and drive landed cost improvements while collaborating with ERP systems and cross-functional teams.

Formación

• Minimum 4–5 years procurement/sourcing experience, ideally with UAE or GCC exposure.
• Must have personally identified, sourced, evaluated and onboarded new suppliers.
• Demonstrate actual supplier negotiations around pricing, credit terms, MOQ, rebates, delivery, lead time or landed cost.
• Comfortable with ERP/procurement systems, Excel, RFQs, purchase orders, GRNs, cost analysis and supplier performance tracking.
• Strong industry domain expertise in F&B, FMCG, HORECA, or related sectors.

Strong preference for F&B, FMCG, HORECA, food distribution, trading or retail procurement. They should understand products, suppliers, pricing, shelf life, MOQ and lead times.Must have personally identified, sourced, evaluated and onboarded new suppliers — not only processed POs or managed an existing vendor list. Must be able to demonstrate actual supplier negotiations around pricing, credit terms, MOQ, rebates, delivery, lead time or landed cost, ideally with a real numerical example. Must be comfortable with ERP/procurement systems, Excel, supplier comparisons, RFQs, purchase orders, GRNs, cost analysis and supplier performance tracking.
