Job summary

Agency Helix in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Account Executive - Social Media to manage day-to-day client relationships and coordinate internal teams.

You will develop and implement social media strategies across platforms, ensure content quality, and stay attuned to UAE cultural sensitivities while supporting government and public-sector accounts.

You will lead client meetings, create content calendars, and collaborate with creative, design, production and strategy teams to drive campaigns.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, content or account management.
• Marketing agency experience is required.
• Previous experience handling UAE government, semi-government or public-sector clients is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of UAE culture, government communication protocols, local sensitivities and the regional social media landscape.
• Experience managing client relationships and coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong copywriting, editing and storytelling skills.
• Good understanding of major social media platforms, digital marketing channels and social media management tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily client communication and act as a key point of contact for assigned accounts.
• Manage and coordinate government and public-sector accounts, ensuring communication and content meet required standards, protocols and sensitivities.
• Maintain clear communication between clients, internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Conduct regular client meetings, prepare meeting minutes and ensure timely follow-up on agreed actions.
• Develop and implement social media strategies across Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
• Review and quality-check all content, copy and visual assets before client submission and publishing.
• Develop creative ideas, campaign concepts, storyboards and scripts.
• Stay up to date with social media trends, platform developments and emerging digital opportunities.
• Evaluate content and campaign performance and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Manage content calendars, publishing and community engagement.
• Collaborate closely with creative, design, production, media and strategy teams.
• Ensure content is culturally relevant and appropriate for UAE and regional audiences, including awareness of local traditions, national occasions, government protocols and cultural sensitivities.
• Support the preparation of strategies, creative concepts and technical submissions for government and corporate bids/tenders.
• Manage multiple projects, stakeholders and deadlines simultaneously.
