Job summary

Our Dubai-based client seeks an experienced Public Relations Officer (PRO) to manage document clearing, government relations, and trade license processes across UAE authorities. The role requires hands-on DMCC, JAFZA, DED, immigration, and license procedures, with strong reasoning and follow-up skills.

The candidate should be fluent in English (Arabic an advantage), possess a UAE driving license, and excel in communication and relationship management to ensure timely processing of all government

Qualifications

• 4–6 years UAE PRO experience
• Expert in DMCC, JAFZA, DED, MO Labour, Immigration
• Excellent English; Arabic is a plus
• Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Manage all documentation and government-related processes (company formation, trade licenses, visas, immigration, renewals).
• Liaise with authorities such as DMCC, JAFZA, DED, MOHRE, and Immigration.
• Handle document clearing, attestations, and submissions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with UAE labour laws, free zones, and trade licensing requirements.
• Provide timely updates to management on application statuses and renewals.
• Maintain excellent follow-up with authorities, clients, and internal departments to avoid delays.
• Build and maintain relationships with government officials and agencies.
• Handle ad hoc government relation tasks as assigned.
• Coordinate with banks for opening/closing corporate accounts and related documentation.

About the Role:

Our client is seeking an experienced and professional Public Relations Officer (PRO) to handle document clearing, government relations, and trade license processes across multiple free zones and government authorities in the UAE. The ideal candidate must have hands-on expertise in DMCC, JAFZA, DED, immigration, and trade licensing procedures. This role requires strong logical reasoning, excellent follow-up skills, and the ability to ensure timely processing of all government-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all documentation and government-related processes, including company formation, trade licenses, visas, immigration, and renewals.
• Liaise effectively with government authorities such as DMCC, JAFZA, DED, Ministry of Labour, and Immigration.
• Handle document clearing, approvals, attestations, and submissions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with UAE labour laws, free zone regulations, and trade licensing requirements.
• Provide timely updates to management regarding the status of applications and renewals.
• Maintain excellent follow-up with authorities, clients, and internal departments to avoid delays.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with government officials and agencies.
• Handle any ad hoc government relation tasks as assigned.
• Bank Interaction: Coordinate with banks for opening and closing corporate accounts, resolving banking-related documentation, and supporting other corporate banking requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 4 to6 years experience as a PRO in the UAE, with strong knowledge of government processes.
• Proven expertise in handling DMCC, JAFZA, DED, Ministry of Labour, Immigration, and trade license documentation.
• Strong logical reasoning and ability to provide clear solutions to complex procedures.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, follow-up, and relationship management skills.
• UAE Driving License is mandatory.
