Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced Public Relations Officer (PRO) with Arabic language proficiency and a strong background in construction. The role focuses on government relations across JAFZA and UAE Mainland, managing visas, licensing, permits, and regulatory documentation.

The ideal candidate will navigate UAE authorities, immigration, labour laws, and licensing processes, ensuring full regulatory compliance and timely renewals while supporting HR, Admin, Finance, and project teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a PRO / Government Relations Officer in the UAE.
• Arabic speaker with strong English communication skills.
• Construction industry experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labour, immigration, licensing, and government procedures.
• Experience dealing with Free Zone and Mainland authorities; JAFZA experience is an advantage.
• Familiarity with construction-related government approvals, permits, and NOCs.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple government transactions, and meet deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of UAE government portals and online systems.
• Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage all government relations and PRO activities for JAFZA and Mainland entities.
• Liaise with UAE government authorities, free-zone authorities, municipalities, immigration, labour authorities, and other regulatory bodies.
• Handle visa, residency, Emirates ID, work permit, labour, and immigration processes.
• Manage company formation, trade licence renewals, amendments, establishment cards, and government registrations.
• Coordinate construction-related permits, approvals, NOCs, inspections, and documentation with authorities.
• Submit documentation to JAFZA, MOHRE, ICP/GDRFA, municipalities, Civil Defense, RTA, etc.
• Maintain records of licences, permits, employee documents, approvals, and expiry dates.
• Ensure timely renewal of licences, permits, visas, and regulatory documents.
• Support HR, Administration, Finance, and Project/Construction teams on government matters.
• Monitor changes in UAE regulations to ensure compliance.
• Represent the company professionally when dealing with government departments and external authorities.

We are seeking an experienced Public Relations Officer (PRO) – Arabic Speaker with a strong construction industry background to manage government relations, regulatory requirements, and official documentation for our organization across JAFZA (Free Zone) and UAE Mainland operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of UAE government procedures, immigration, labour regulations, company licensing, permits, and corporate documentation, with the ability to independently handle all PRO-related activities and maintain full compliance with applicable UAE laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all government relations and PRO activities for JAFZA and Mainland entities. Maintain accurate records of licences, permits, employee documents, government approvals, and expiry dates. Ensure timely renewal of all company licences, permits, visas, and regulatory documents. Requirements
