Job description

Job Location: Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort Anantara Hotels & Resorts is a global luxury hotel and resort brand rooted in Thai culture, with an intrinsic sense of authentic hospitality. Inspired by the Sanskrit word meaning ‘without end’, our spirit embodies freedom, movement, and harmony. We believe every journey should leave a lasting impression — for our guests and for our people. Founded in 2001 in Thailand, we have since expanded across the world, welcoming guests in some of the world’s most captivating locales — from pristine beaches and private islands to ancient sites and vibrant metropolises. If you are driven by a passion for generosity, warmth and heartfelt hospitality, Anantara offers a career without limits.

Public Relations & Media Relations
  • Support the development and execution of the resort’s annual public relations strategy and communications calendar in line with business priorities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local, regional and international media, editors, journalists and relevant industry contacts.
  • Draft and coordinate press releases, media alerts, fact sheets, talking points and other PR materials, ensuring accuracy and consistency with Anantara brand standards.
  • Coordinate media stays, interviews, press visits and hosted experiences from initial invitation through itinerary planning, on-property support and post-visit follow-up.
  • Monitor media coverage and proactively identify opportunities to strengthen awareness of the resort, its accommodation, dining, wellness, events and sustainability initiatives.
Social Media Strategy & Community Management
  • Support the development and implementation of social media strategies across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
  • Manage the day-to-day social media calendar, ensuring a consistent content mix that supports rooms, villas, dining, spa, events and brand storytelling.
  • Create, review and publish engaging copy and content while maintaining the resort’s tone of voice, visual identity and brand standards.
  • Oversee community management by responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner and escalating guest concerns when required.
Content, Influencers & Partnerships
  • Plan and coordinate photo and video shoots with internal teams, agencies, photographers and videographers, including briefs, shot lists, logistics and content approvals.
  • Identify, evaluate and coordinate influencers, content creators and brand partners whose audience and positioning align with the resort’s target guest profile.
  • Manage influencer and collaboration requests, including profile evaluation, deliverables, itineraries, contracts where applicable, content tracking and post-campaign reporting.
Campaign & Brand Coordination
  • Work closely with Marketing, Food & Beverage, Rooms, Spa and other departments to develop communication plans for resort experiences, offers, launches and key calendar moments.
  • Support integrated campaigns across PR, social media, digital, partnerships and on-property communications to maximise reach and engagement.
  • Liaise with external PR, social media and creative agencies, providing clear briefs, feedback and timely approvals to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Ensure all external communications, imagery and promotional materials are accurate, on brand and aligned with the resort’s positioning.
Analytics, Reporting & Team Support
  • Monitor PR, social media and influencer performance, including coverage, reach, engagement, audience quality and campaign results, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and competitor reviews, highlighting key achievements, trends, opportunities and areas for optimisation.
  • Support the Cluster Director of Marketing & Communications with departmental planning, presentations, budgets, purchase requests and other communications-related administration as required.
  • Provide guidance and day-to-day support to junior team members and suppliers, helping maintain strong organisation, deadlines and quality standards across projects.
