Job summary

Progressive in Dubai seeks a Public Health Engineer (Technical Manager) to deliver system solutions across Public Health, Mechanical and HVAC applications for building projects. The role requires leading meetings with contractors and consultancies, with travel across the UAE and GCC.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in public health engineering, some mechanical exposure, and strong communication skills to drive value engineering and approvals. A company car and visa are included with benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Public Health Engineer with mechanical exposure.
• High-rise project experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop system solutions and bespoke designs for Public Health, Mechanical and HVAC projects.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and alternative specification solutions.
• Provide technical support and product advice to customers.
• Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, method statements and approval submissions.
• Conduct drawing take-offs and supplier/competitor reviews.
• Support project approvals and ensure solutions meet technical and commercial requirements.

Role Purpose

To deliver technical system solutions and engineering support across Public Health, Mechanical and HVAC applications, helping customers identify efficient, value-engineered solutions.

Key Requirements

• 3+ years experience as a Public Health Engineer (with some mechanical experience)
• Some high rise buildings experience is preferred
• Good communication skills and technical awareness for leading meetings with contractors and consultancies.
