Job summary

Citigroup UAE is seeking a Public Affairs Strategy Support professional to assist the Head of Public Affairs in implementing external and internal communications plans that support Wealth Citigold objectives and regulatory expectations.

You will help preserve and enhance the bank's image, coordinate media engagements for executives, and plan social media and community initiatives across the UAE. Bilingual English/Arabic communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in public affairs or corporate communications within banking or financial services is preferred.
• Ability to craft messages in English and Arabic for internal and external audiences.
• Experience coordinating media and executive engagements and events.

Responsibilities

• Support UAE Head of Public Affairs in executing internal and external communication plans that advance Wealth Citigold objectives and protect the bank's reputation.
• Coordinate external communication and media engagements for executives and spokespeople, including press releases and interviews in Arabic and English; monitor media coverage.
• Plan and execute a social media strategy for UAE Wealth Head and key business representatives in the wealth area.
• Assist senior leadership with external speaking opportunities and coordinate branding materials for corporate events, forums, and sponsorships.
• Support internal communications by drafting newsletters, updating intranet content, and coordinating town halls and employee engagement initiatives.
• Participate in execution of community investment programs and volunteering activities across the UAE.
• Ensure full compliance with internal governance, risk management and budget tracking procedures.
