Role Context

This position combines classroom teaching with the opportunity to shape a developing subject area. As GEMS Royal Dubai School expands its secondary provision towards Year 13, the Psychology Teacher will contribute to establishing curriculum sequencing, assessment practices, resources and academic expectations for a subject that will become increasingly important within the school 's examination pathways. The educational focus extends beyond learning psychological terminology and theories. Students will be taught to examine human behaviour systematically, understand research methodology, interpret evidence, compare competing explanations and construct well-supported evaluations. The teacher will therefore play an important role in strengthening analytical thinking and academic research skills that transfer across the wider secondary curriculum.
