Job summary

Innovations Global in Dubai seeks a qualified psychologist to provide clinical or counseling services, assess and treat mental, emotional and behavioral disorders. Responsibilities include conducting screenings, writing reports, developing treatment plans, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires DHA licensure or eligibility, residency in the UAE, and experience with developmental delays and related disorders.

Responsibilities

• Carry out psychological screenings & assessments to determine client needs using psychometric tests, interviews and observation of behavior.
• Administer and score tests; write comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational assessment reports.
• Recommend, develop and administer appropriate psychological interventions and treatment plans.
• Organize programs that induce social and academic development in a learning group.
• Attend workshops, seminars, and professional meetings to stay informed of new developments in psychology.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside behavior technicians, speech and language therapists, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out psychological screenings & assessments for the clients to determine client’s needs, abilities or behavior using a variety of methods, including psychometric tests, interviews and direct observation of behavior
• Administer and score tests, and write comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational assessment reports
• Recommend, develop and administer appropriate suitable psychological interventions and treatment plans.
• Organize programs that induce social and academic development in a learning group
• Attend workshops, seminars, and/or professional meetings in order to remain informed of new developments in psychology.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside behavior technicians, speech and language therapists, etc.

Qualifications, License & Experience:

• Must be DHA license or eligible for Dubai UAE
• Must already be resident in UAE.
• Previous & current experience working with related disorders and other developmental delays.
