Qualifications

• DHA Licensed Clinical Psychologist – mandatory.
• 18+ years of professional clinical experience.
• Extensive experience with children and adolescents.
• Strong background in Pediatric Clinical Psychology and developmental assessments.
• ADOS-trained/certified, with autism assessment experience.
• Experience with ASD, ADHD, developmental delays, learning difficulties, and behavioural or emotional challenges.
• Strong expertise in psychological assessment, diagnosis, clinical formulation, and evidence-based interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with families.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary pediatric team.
• Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and developmental assessments for children and adolescents.
• Conduct and interpret ADOS assessments and contribute to autism diagnostic evaluations.
• Develop personalised treatment and intervention plans based on clinical assessments.
• Provide psychological therapy and behavioural support where appropriate.
• Work closely with parents, caregivers, schools, and other healthcare professionals.
• Prepare accurate clinical documentation, assessment reports, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Occupational Therapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, and other clinicians.
• Provide families with appropriate guidance and recommendations based on assessment outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting children and adolescents, conducting complex psychological assessments, and working collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
