Siemens AG in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Protection & Automation Design Engineer with 5–8 years of experience to lead the retrofit design and engineering work across projects. You will prepare base designs, schematics, and data sheets, coordinate with customers and factories, and ensure design documents meet Siemens engineering standards.

The role requires strong English communication, collaboration in a team, and willingness to travel for site visits and vendor meetings.

Formación

• Bachelor Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering (local or international).
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken) with ability to work in a team.
• Min 5 to 8 years experience in Protection & Automation Designs.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze project technical information from specifications and scope.
• Review protection & automation designs per Siemens standards.
• Prepare design documents, schematics, terminal plans, and wiring tables.
• Coordinate with customer, factory, and project team for RFQ and BOM.
• Attend vendor and customer meetings and site reviews.
• Ensure specification compliance and proper SCMS/FMS/RTU data.
• Guide assistants in Detailed Design documents for protection concepts.

• Preparation for of RFQ documents to factory and submit to project manager

• Control and actively influence the execution of the forecasted engineering schedule in terms of design

Qualifications

• Bachelor Engineering degree from local or international University or Technical Institute in Electrical Engineering disciplines
• Good communication skills in English language (written and spoken) with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Min 5 to 8 years experience in Protection & Automation Designs is a must.
• Software skill set hands-on experience in A-CAD, ELCAD, EBASE, MS Visio.
