Job summary

Siemens Abu Dhabi is seeking a Protection Design Engineer to analyze project data, perform site visits, and prepare base designs in line with Siemens standards. You will coordinate with teams and guide junior engineers through Detailed Design for Protection/FMS/RTU/SCMS panels, while developing RFQ documents for factory submission.

The role requires a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering and 5–8 years of protection and automation experience, with strong English communication and software

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Electrical Engineering.
• Min 5–8 years in Protection & Automation Designs.
• Proficiency in A-CAD, ELCAD, EBASE, MS Visio.
• Good English communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project data including specs, scope, and diagrams.
• Perform site visits and prepare reports, method statements, risk assessments.
• Prepare base design documents per Siemens standards.
• Coordinate with project and vendor teams during design reviews.
• Guide junior engineers in detailed design of Protection/FMS/RTU/SCMS panels.
• Develop RFQ documents for factory submission.
