Job summary

A construction firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Civil to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will manage civil engineering projects from initiation to handover, ensuring a strong understanding of construction methods and local regulations. The role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, with 7 to 10 years of UAE experience preferred. This position offers a full-time contract with a salary range of AED 8,000.00 - AED 12,000.00 per month.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of experience in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and local authority regulations.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact with clients and consultants throughout project lifecycle.
• Execute projects per approved plans and ensure timely completion.
• Manage and motivate project team to achieve goals.
• Monitor and report project progress, risks, and issues.
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality expectations.
• Negotiate and arrange agreements with subcontractors.
• Resolve conflicts during project lifecycle.
• Oversee safety regulations to meet local authority standards.
• Conduct project evaluations and progress meetings.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Civil with outstanding engineering skill to Join our team and deliver high-quality projects on time within Budget.

The ideal candidate should have experience in managing the civil engineering projects from initiation to handover with strong understanding of construction methods, materials and local authority regulations. The ability to develop and maintain relationships with Clients, Consultants and sub-contractors. He will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project with the help of his subordinate project engineers. He should be highly organized and able to work under pressure with minimum no supervision.

He will report all project related matter to Company Directors and take responsibility for following

1. Primary point of contact with Clients and Consultants throughout the project life cycle

2. Develop and execute the projects as per approved project plans and ensure timely completion

3. Manage and motivate other project team members to achieve project goals and objectives

4. Monitor and report the project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders on a regular basis

5. Oversee quality control procedures to ensure that all deliverables meet or exceed the quality expectations

6. Negotiate and arrange the subcontractor agreements with qualified subcontractors

7. Resolve any conflicts that may arise during the course of the project life cycle

8. Oversee the Safety and HSE regulations to ensure the local authorities’ regulations are met

9. Conduct project evaluations and regular progress meetings with the project team
