Job summary

We are seeking a Project Scheduler for a 6–8 month contract in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role involves on-site work alongside the Project Director and Site Manager, supporting a completion-phase project.

You will manage subcontractor progress, risk tracking, and forecast turnover packages, keeping schedules and milestones aligned with plan on a weekly basis. Requirements include 5+ years in planning on EPC plant projects, experience in power/oil & gas, advanced Primavera P6 skills, and hands-on

Qualifications

• 5+ years in planning and scheduling, including site time on EPC plant projects.
• Power, oil and gas or process plant experience.
• Advanced Primavera P6 skills.
• Hands-on subcontractor progress management.
• Completion-phase exposure: turnover packages, handover or energisation.

Responsibilities

• Collect and check weekly progress from subcontractors, and flag variances against plan.
• Keep the risk tracker and S-curve up to date, and assess the impact on milestones.
• Track inspection progress daily and record commitment dates.
• Update turnover package progress and forecasts every week.
• Update the project schedule monthly and keep the completion forecast current.
• Plan and track the back energisation schedule.

Our client is a leading international EPC contractor in Abu Dhabi.

Duration: 6–8 month contract.

The role

You'll be based on site on a 6–8 month contract, working with the Project Director and Site Manager. The project is in its completion phase. You'll keep subcontractor progress, risk and handover forecasts accurate every week.
