Job summary

Business Umbrella in Dubai seeks a Project Planner to develop and monitor detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project. You will forecast delays, identify critical paths, and coordinate with engineering, procurement and construction teams to ensure milestones are met.

Experience in EPC projects and familiarity with EVM and baseline control are preferred. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential to manage resource planning and progress reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and scheduling for construction infrastructure or EPC projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project and other planning tools.
• Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) and baseline control.

Responsibilities

• Schedule development: Prepare detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Progress Monitoring: Track project performance and update schedules.
• Critical Path & Delay Analysis: Analyze the impact of changes or delays and propose mitigation strategies.
• Reporting: Generate weekly/monthly progress reports dashboards and look-ahead schedules for management and stakeholders.
• Coordination: Work closely with engineering procurement and construction teams to gather input and align schedules.
• Resource Planning: Assist in manpower and equipment planning to optimize resource utilization.
