Job summary

Ali And Sons Holding L.L.C is seeking a Planning professional in Abu Dhabi to prepare Project Planning Packages, assist in tender programmes, and coordinate with Senior Planners for detailed schedules according to contract requirements.

The role involves manpower forecasting, productivity analysis, KPI reporting, cash-flow estimation, and ensuring QHSE integration within planning activities. Strong English and construction industry knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (reading- writing- speaking).
• Excellent knowledge of Planning tools such as Primavera P6.
• Proper understanding of Construction Industry: Contracts, Engineering, Procurement, QHSE requirements, Controlling of Subcontractors.
• Communication skills.
• Know how for Construction activities.
• Understanding of Authorities Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Project Planning Package.
• Assist in Tender Programme preparation per tender documents.
• Coordinate with Senior Planner for detailed programmes per contract requirements.
• Propose productivity sheets for the project.
• Calculate manpower requirements trade-wise as per productivity definitions.
• Prepare project weight system and KPI reports.
• Support cash flow estimation and weekly/monthly planning reports.
• Highlight critical paths and coordinate actions with project staff.
• Ensure QHSE requirements are integrated into programmes.
• Prepare internal planning reports and client/subcontractor communications.
• Attend required meetings and audits.
• Prepare notices for EoT and EoT claims.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation of Project Planning Package
• Project Monitor update Assist in Preparation of Tender Programmes as per the Tender documents requirement
• Coordinate with Sr planner Planner for preparation of detailed programmes as per contract requirements
• Propose the Productivity sheet for the Project
• Coordinate with the Sr planner for calculating the manpower requirements trade wise as per the defined productivity
• Preparation of a weight system
• Coordinate with the Sr planner Planner for loading the manpower major quantities Weightage and cost over the activities of the Programme of work as required
• Estimating the projects cash flow
• Preparation of the projects measurement tools like S-curve Tabular reports histograms and other KPI s
• Highlight the Critical path s and take the necessary actions with coordination of other Project key staff
• Insure that QHSE requirements are integrated to the Programmes
• Coordinate with the Sr planner Planner for preparation of Internal Programme of Works if required
• Coordinate with the Sr planner Planner Assistant for issuing the subcontractor s programmes with coordination of Procurement engineers
• Coordinate with the Sr planner Planner Planner Assistant for preparing the weekly monthly reports
• Coordinate with the Sr planner Planner Planner Assistant for preparing the internal Planning reports
• Highlighting the Critical Longest Path to Planning Manager on Weekly Basis before issuance of the Weekly Monthly report
• Highlighting the Area of Concerns to Planning Manager on Weekly Basis before issuance of the Weekly Monthly report
• Coordinate with the Sr planner for forecasting the future problems and inform the Planning Manager to take the necessary actions
• Monitor the manpower equipment and make sure that they are correct as per Project Site conditions
• Coordinate with the Sr planner for updating the Projects cash flow
• Coordinate with the Sr planner Planner for preparation of Planning related correspondences to Client Engineer Sub-consultant Subcontractors and other parties
• Attending the required meetings
• Attending the required Audits
• Preparation of Notices for EoT
• Coordinate with the Sr planner for Preparation of EoT claims
• Evaluate the Projects progress time wise
• Send correspondences to all Senior Staff regarding all planning related issues
• Send correspondences to all Subcontractors regarding all planning related issues
