Job summary

Confidential Company seeks an experienced Project Planning and Scheduling Lead to manage complex construction programs in Dubai. You will develop and maintain detailed schedules, track progress against milestones, and ensure alignment of timelines with resource allocation.

Responsibilities include identifying critical path activities, communicating status to stakeholders, and developing mitigation plans for schedule risks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in project planning and scheduling in construction/engineering.
  • PMP/PSP certification is desirable; proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, ASTA PowerProject.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, meticulously tracking progress against milestones and identifying critical path activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input, validate assumptions, and ensure alignment on project timelines and resource allocation. Proactively identify potential risks and schedule deviations, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans to keep projects on track. Prepare and present detailed schedule reports and performance metrics to stakeholders, clearly communicating project status and potential impacts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in project planning and scheduling within the construction or engineering industry. Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PSP (Planning and Scheduling Professional) is highly desirable. Proficiency in industry-standard scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, ASTA PowerProject).
