Job summary

SetupFX in Dubai seeks an experienced Brokerage Technology & Solutions Manager to lead end-to-end technology for Forex/CFD brokerage operations. You will design and deploy solutions across MT5, CRM/back office, liquidity, payments, KYC, IB systems and third-party integrations, coordinating internal and external teams from concept to post-launch monitoring.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Brokerage Technology & Solutions Manager with strong end-to-end knowledge of the Forex/CFD brokerage ecosystem. The role combines brokerage technology, operations, product thinking and solution architecture. The successful candidate will translate commercial and operational requirements into reliable technology solutions across trading platforms, CRM/back office, liquidity, payments, KYC, IB systems, risk tools and third-party integrations.

This is not a pure MT5 Administrator or Dealer position. The role requires someone who can understand a broker requirement, design the operating and technology solution, coordinate internal and external teams, manage UAT, support launch, and monitor performance after go-live.

Primary Mandate:

• Own brokerage requirements from business discussion through solution design, implementation, testing, deployment and post-launch monitoring.
• Act as the bridge between management, operations, dealing/risk, compliance, finance, technology teams and external vendors.
• Ensure brokerage systems are commercially practical, operationally controlled and scalable across multiple geographic markets.

1. Trading Platform & MT5 Infrastructure

• Manage and support MetaTrader 5 configuration including servers, trading groups, symbols, contract specifications, account types and permissions.
• Configure spreads/markups, commissions, swaps, leverage, margin, stop-out levels, trading sessions, market holidays and related trading conditions.
• Understand the impact of platform configuration on client experience, execution quality, operational risk and broker profitability.

2. Liquidity, Bridges & Execution

• Work with Liquidity Providers, Prime of Prime providers, aggregators, MT5 gateways, bridges and FIX API connectivity.
• Understand price feeds, backup/failover feeds, order routing, LP allocation, smart routing logic, slippage, rejects, latency and execution-quality monitoring.
• Coordinate troubleshooting and optimization with liquidity, bridge and technology vendors.

3. Brokerage Risk & Dealing

• Understand A-Book, B-Book and hybrid brokerage models, exposure management, hedging, internalization and client segmentation.
• Understand dealer-desk operations, toxic-flow/arbitrage indicators, high-frequency or abusive trading behaviour and news/event-related risk.
• Use market knowledge to understand how volatility, gaps and liquidity conditions affect spreads, execution and broker exposure.

4. CRM, Client Cabinet & Back Office

• Own functional understanding of the complete client lifecycle: Lead → Registration → KYC → Approval → Wallet → Trading Account → Deposit → Trading → Withdrawal → Retention → IB Commission → Account Closure.
• Define and improve onboarding, trading-account creation, wallets, transfers, deposits/withdrawals, client segmentation, sales/retention workflows, permissions, approvals, audit logs, notifications and reporting.
• Convert broker requirements into clear CRM/back-office functional specifications for the technology team or vendor.

5. Business Requirement & Solution Design

• Analyze requests such as new account types, country launches, multi-tier IB structures, crypto deposits, automated withdrawals, new KYC providers, social trading, bonus models, risk controls and management reporting.
• Define the required MT5 changes, CRM functionality, APIs, payment flows, IB rules, compliance checkpoints, operational procedures and reports.
• Coordinate implementation across internal teams and external technology providers

6. Payments, KYC & Financial Operations

• Understand fiat and crypto payment flows including cards, bank transfers, local payment methods, PSPs, wallets, blockchain confirmations, refunds, chargebacks and payment routing.
• Understand KYC/KYB and AML workflows including identity verification, proof of address, liveness, PEP/sanctions screening, risk scoring, source-of-funds checks, document expiry and re-KYC.
• Work with providers such as Sumsub, Jumio and equivalent vendors; support deposit, withdrawal and provider reconciliation across wallet, MT5 and back-office systems.

7. IB, Affiliate & Partner Systems

• Design and support Introducing Broker, Master IB, Sub-IB and multi-tier partner structures.
• Understand CPA, CPL, revenue share, lot-based rebates, symbol-specific rebates, markup sharing, partner wallets, attribution, automated commission calculations and payouts.
• Ensure commercial models are correctly translated into system logic with appropriate anti-abuse controls.

8. Products, Plugins & Third-Party Ecosystem

• Understand Forex, metals, indices, commodities, equity CFDs and crypto CFDs, together with Standard, Pro, ECN, VIP, Raw Spread and Islamic/Swap-Free account structures.
• Evaluate and coordinate integrations for social/copy trading, PAMM, MAM, trading analytics, bonus/rebate engines, VPS, fraud/risk tools, client retention tools and related brokerage plugins.
• Recommend solutions based on business needs, integration effort, reliability, scalability and geographic suitability.

9. Geographic Market Solutions

• Adapt brokerage solutions for GCC/MENA, Africa, South Asia, Southeast Asia, LATAM, Europe and other target markets.
• Recommend suitable payment methods, currencies, onboarding flows, KYC processes, account structures, leverage settings, products, IB models and local integrations.
• Coordinate with legal/compliance teams where jurisdiction-specific regulatory interpretation is required.

10. UAT, Deployment & Incident Management

• Own or coordinate UAT across registration, KYC, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, account creation, trading, IB attribution, commissions, bonuses, notifications and reporting. Confidential | Human Resources | Brokerage Technology & Solutions Manager

• Coordinate incidents involving MT5, feeds, bridges, orders, payments, KYC APIs, CRM, commissions, swaps or account creation; identify the responsible system/vendor and drive resolution.

11. Reporting & Management Intelligence

• Define and monitor brokerage KPIs across registrations, KYC conversion, FTDs, active traders, retention, deposits, withdrawals, net deposits, revenue, trading volume, exposure, broker P&L, IB performance and PSP performance.
• Build or specify management reporting that gives clear operational and commercial visibility.

12. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Manage working relationships with MetaTrader/platform providers, CRM vendors, LPs, bridge providers, PSPs, crypto payment providers, KYC vendors, risk tools and other technology partners.
• Lead requirement discussions, solution evaluation, vendor comparison, integration coordination, escalations and ongoing performance review.

• 5+ years of relevant experience within Forex/CFD brokerage, brokerage technology, fintech or trading operations.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of MetaTrader 5 and brokerage trading infrastructure.
• Practical understanding of CRM/client cabinet/back-office operations and the full client lifecycle.
• Experience with liquidity providers, bridges/gateways, payment systems, KYC vendors, IB systems and brokerage integrations.

Preferred Candidate Background
