Job summary

Tanqeeb seeks a Platform Administrator to configure and maintain the MT5 infrastructure in Dubai. You will ensure high availability, security, and performance while coordinating with liquidity providers and bridge partners.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of MT5 administration within live trading, with strong FXCubic, FIX, Windows Server, and scripting experience. On-call rotations may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have MT5 platform administration experience in live trading environments.
• Experience with FXCubic analytics or similar trading analytics software is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, forex trading principles, and trading workflows.

Responsibilities

• Platform Administration: Configure, administer, and maintain MT5 platform infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
• Routing & Configuration: Set up routing rules, symbols, spreads, commissions, user groups, and leverage settings; perform routine rollover updates for futures symbols.
• Bridge & Liquidity Management: Maintain connectivity between MT5 Admin and FXCubic bridge engine; manage Active Periods, States, Actions, Timelines in FXCubic.
• Troubleshooting & Escalation: Diagnose and resolve issues related to bridge communication, FIX API, market data feeds, and order latency.
• Vendor & Partner Coordination: Liaise with LPs, vendors, and bridge support to ensure seamless integration and SLA compliance.
• Integrations & Deployments: Test, deploy, and monitor MetaQuotes components, custom server plugins, and third-party tools across staging and production.
• Dealing & Risk Collaboration: Work with Dealing and Risk teams on client operations, execution anomalies, and trade analysis.
• Internal Technical Support: Provide Tier-2/3 support across departments to resolve platform incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Administration: Configure, administer, and maintain MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platform infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

• Routing & Configuration: Set up and manage MT5 routing rules, symbols, spreads, commissions, user groups, and leverage settings; execute routine contract rollover updates for futures symbols.

• Bridge & Liquidity Management: Maintain connectivity between MT5 Admin and the FXCubic bridge engine; manage Active Periods, States, Actions, and Timelines in FXCubic based on liquidity and risk requirements.

• Troubleshooting & Escalation: Promptly diagnose and resolve issues related to bridge communication, FIX API protocols, market data feeds, and order execution latencies.

• Vendor & Partner Coordination: Liaise with Liquidity Providers (LPs), technology vendors, and bridge support to ensure seamless integration and SLA compliance.

• Integrations & Deployments: Test, deploy, and monitor native MetaQuotes components, custom server plugins, and third-party tools across staging and production environments.

• Dealing & Risk Collaboration: Work closely with the Dealing and Risk teams on client account operations, execution anomalies, and trade analysis to flag toxic or abusive trading behavior.

• Internal Technical Support: Provide Tier-2/3 technical assistance across departments to resolve platform incidents and operational support tickets.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Trading Systems: Proven hands-on administration experience with MetaTrader 5 (MT5) Administrator and MT5 Manager.

• Bridge Architecture: Deep practical knowledge of the FXCubic bridge engine, routing rules, and execution settings.

• System Administration: Solid working knowledge of Windows Server environments, security permissions, and remote management (RDP/PowerShell).

• Protocols & Connectivity: Practical understanding of FIX protocol, network latency optimization, and liquidity aggregation.

• Communication & Shift Availability: Strong problem-solving mindset with the flexibility to support market trading hours or on-call rotations when needed.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Development & Scripting: Hands-on experience with Node.js, JavaScript, Python, or database administration (SQL/NoSQL) for building reporting tools or back-office automations.

• Modern AI Workflows: Familiarity with AI developer tools and LLMs (e.g., Claude, Cursor) to accelerate scripting, automation, and operational troubleshooting.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience administering MetaTrader 5 platforms in a live trading environment.
• Proven experience with FXCubic analytics or similar trading analytics software is highly desirable.
